Flagshihp ARK
A bespoke tinyhouse. Designed for a couple living off-grid while working the land.
The home is built to a 5.4m x 2.2m internal floor plan. The inside is
expansive and open plan, with designated spaces: lounge; kitchen;
sleeping loft; reading loft/slide-out spare double bed; de-robing space;
toilet alcove; and outdoor porch.
The
home is kitted out with: solar system; stairs; outdoor shower; propane
water heater; stairs; bedroom storage; general storage; heat exchange; aluminum windows; rainwater capture; water tank;
propane oven; sink; wood burning oven; and upright piano.
GROWER's ARK
A concept design for a grower or land worker. An opportunity to be more than a manager of nature but instead to be an integral part of it. Immersed in their environment and a wild part of their ecosystem.
The grower's ARK allows a worker, apprentis, student or homesteader to live within their garden and feel its rhythm with sensitivity.
This innovation brings inspiration, comfort and safety for growers and land workers. It makes a thriving lifestyle accessible, whereas before it may be too expensive, too technical challenging, undignified, overly complex, prohibited by planners or excessively uncomfortable.
Every element is concidered to be as optimal as possible, whist being efficient to build, replicable and using commonly available materials.
